After a successful summer serving the Grand Strand community through various events, Roll Out is thrilled to announce the opening of its first physical location at 2696 Beaver Run Blvd Ste G, Surfside Beach, SC 29575. The new location will feature both the beloved premium rolled ice cream and an expanded menu of homemade ice cream flavors that is all about elevating the ice cream experience for all visitors.

A Dream Realized by Local Entrepreneur Keith DePalma

Keith DePalma, a 2004 graduate of Socastee High School, is excited to bring a new level of family fun and tasty enjoyment to the Grand Strand. “I grew up here in Myrtle Beach, and I have memories with my family and friends that I will never forget. I want nothing more than to create these memories for local families and friends, and also for the guests from out of town enjoying our incredible vacation destination,” said DePalma. “We want to give them something they can talk about all year and come back to, being even better than they remember.”

DePalma has a rich history in the hospitality industry, having opened McDonald’s, Outback Steakhouses, a Memorabilia company, and several Adventure Parks in the Tampa region. Now, as a single father of four, he is returning to his roots in Myrtle Beach to create a new legacy for his family and community.

Community Commitment with “Hands Up to Roll Out” Foundation

Roll Out is more than just ice cream. DePalma is committed to giving back to the community through the newly formed “Hands Up to Roll Out” foundation, dedicated to fighting childhood hunger and supporting foster children in the Grand Strand area. Roll Out is already a corporate sponsor of Socastee High School and St. James High School and will be providing free ice cream to all students from any school who achieve straight A’s through a special card program donated to local schools.
